Meet the 2020 Class of Wear the Badge Scholars

The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation has selected seven students to receive Wear the Badge Scholarships. The students represent schools and communities across Minnesota. Two prospective law enforcement students who are just completing high school will receive $500 academic awards. The other five recipients are all enrolled in post-secondary programs with a law enforcement focus and will receive $1000 scholarships.

n times of crisis, we are even more aware of and grateful for people who step up to serve their communities," says MCPF president Jeff Potts who is also the Bloomington chief of police.  "This is an impressive group of scholars.  Like all of us, they are also impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and, in many cases, already serving in the line of duty."
